About Gizmo RC

Hi, I'm Greg Mawson, the founder of Gizmo RC. I've been racing RC cars for over 35 years — starting at 14 with electric 1/10 off road, and moving through most forms of on and off road racing. At one point I was racing on and off road, and electric and nitro.

Gizmo RC was born out of a desire to make quality RC products more accessible to New Zealand enthusiasts. Whether you're a seasoned racer or just getting started, we can obtain a wide range of cars, parts, and accessories to keep you on the track and having fun.

We're based in New Plymouth, Taranaki, and while we're primarily an online store, local customers are welcome to arrange pickup by appointment. We ship anywhere in New Zealand, and for international customers interested in our products, please get in touch directly.

Our range continues to grow, covering cars, boats, planes, helicopters, and drones — everything RC under one roof.
