Returns & Refunds

At Gizmo RC we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order by emailing greg@gizmorc.co.nz with your order number and reason for return. We assess each request individually and will get back to you promptly.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives faulty or develops a fault shortly after receipt:

  • Contact us as soon as possible
  • Include photos or video clearly showing the fault
  • Do not attempt to repair or modify the item before contacting us
  • For confirmed faults, Gizmo RC will cover return shipping costs both ways
  • Where necessary, we may need to liaise with the supplier or manufacturer to determine the appropriate course of action — we'll keep you updated throughout and aim to have a resolution as soon as possible
  • Resolution will likely be a replacement or full refund depending on stock availability and your preference

Shipping Damage

If your order arrives with visible damage:

  • If possible, refuse the delivery
  • If already accepted, contact us immediately and keep all original packaging — do not discard anything as this is needed for any courier claim
  • Contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the damage

Important Notes

  • Change of mind returns are reviewed on a case by case basis and may not be accepted.
  • A restocking fee may apply to approved change of mind returns
  • Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the responsibility of the buyer
  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method once we receive and inspect the returned item. Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • We accept no responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect installation, incompatible components, or damage sustained during operation of radio-controlled models
