Returns & Refunds
At Gizmo RC we stand behind the products we sell. If an item arrives faulty, develops a fault, or is damaged in transit, please contact us by emailing greg@gizmorc.co.nz with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video where possible. We do not accept returns for change of mind — see Important Notes below.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If your item arrives faulty or develops a fault shortly after receipt:
- Contact us as soon as possible
- Include photos or video clearly showing the fault
- Do not attempt to repair or modify the item before contacting us
- For confirmed faults, Gizmo RC will cover return shipping costs both ways
- Where necessary, we may need to liaise with the supplier or manufacturer to determine the appropriate course of action — we'll keep you updated throughout and aim to have a resolution as soon as possible
- Resolution will likely be a replacement or full refund depending on stock availability and your preference
Shipping Damage
If your order arrives with visible damage:
- If possible, refuse the delivery
- If already accepted, contact us immediately and keep all original packaging — do not discard anything as this is needed for any courier claim
- Contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos of the damage
Important Notes
- We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect selection, or items ordered in specifically for a customer. Any exception is entirely at our discretion and is not guaranteed
- For confirmed faults, Gizmo RC covers return shipping both ways and refunds are processed in full, including original shipping charges, once the fault is confirmed
- Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item
- We accept no responsibility for damage resulting from incorrect installation, incompatible components, or damage sustained during operation of radio-controlled models
