Takashima D-13 has introduced the Mi10 carbon fibre front bulkhead reinforcement plate, available in three thickness options (0.5mm, 0.8mm and 1.0mm). The part is designed to significantly increase front-end chassis rigidity, reducing bulkhead flex under cornering and braking loads, and helping to maintain more consistent left-right suspension geometry.

The chassis benefits from a more direct steering response, improved steering precision, and enhanced high-speed stability, with a more consistent front-end behaviour during braking into corners.

On the other hand, the increase in front-end stiffness reduces overall chassis flex, which may slightly decrease mechanical front grip. On high-grip surfaces, this typically results in a more stable and easier-to-drive platform, while on low-grip conditions, suspension setup adjustments may be required to recover optimal front-end bite.

Overall, the bulkhead reinforcement plate is primarily aimed at improving front-end structural stability, delivering more precise steering, greater consistency, and a more predictable overall handling balance.
